RE: wich one????
You don't even need to spend that much to get a good truggy which can bash and race.

This is currently the best deal available in the whole of RC, it's a great car with a good engine. Check out magazine reviews. There are cars which are not as good for double the price.

Uh.. no ... TTR is not better. ITs a good car but just not as good as the matrix truggy. Matrix has a better radio, servos, engine and everything by the way.
Anyways, www.amainhobbies.com has a special on all matrix right now. Check it out. Free hauling bag..

RE: wich one????
lol. Bummer, well, at least people will stop accusing me of working for TTR now.
However, it's still a bargain at $369, it was just an unbelievable bargain before. And I'd still (personal opinion) rather have the TTR chassis than the matrix, EVEN if they were the same price. BUT, the matrix is worth the extra money because of the better radio. Once again they are perfectly equal.

RE: wich one????
I think the TTR has a slightly better engine, but don't quote me on that, I'm a fan of Golden Lion engines (GL make engines for SH, NOSRAM, Thunder Tiger, Associated and many others), they're good. Now I'm not saying it's faster necessarily, when I say better, I mean easy to tune, and if treated right, long lasting, TTR engines usually have good top end too, but again, I've no direct experience of that engine so I can't be sure. The TTR is definitely 369, I checked. And yes, to be honest, the better radio is worth 60$ more, as you can't buy a radio with all those functions for $60. Honestly, in my opinion, the two cars are dead equal again.

RE: wich one????
Don't bother with 2 speeds and 8-shock stuff, it's silly on a truggy. They are not necessary, you don;t see racers with such stuff on their cars, and racing is much harder on the cars than bashing, so believe me, they are not necessary.
