Default need tips for 2 speed

why wont this thing shift
i put it in a rs4 mt
1st gear is blazin
but it wont shift
any advice welcome

Yeah, reading the manual will really help you out. It tells you how to adjust it, and thats what you need to do to get it out of 1st gear.

Default need tips for 2 speed

Use the little allen wrench they gave you and turn the second little knut(the one that is deeper) and turn it counterclockwise some. This should decrease the gear shift.

Default need tips for 2 speed

my buddy has the same problem, we tried for like an hour trying to get it to shift, but it wont, we played w. the spring inside the gearbox and tried each time and it wont shift. Hes got an Ofna GTLX!

i put two tanks of gas thru it and still no shift
i put the black spring in like the manual says to do for an ss engine but i have an fe. the silver spring seems to do nothing... but cant run it till it stops raining maybe that will do the trick
need nmt owners with two speed to speak up on where yours is set
please

i don't have an nmt but i do have an ss and the trannys are the same. I had the same problem with mine and i thought the engine wasn't running right so I tuned it really lean (on accident it was my first real r/c) and still no shift so i backed it 4 full turns and startedf from there the shift point was way to early but it was shifting just back it out until it shifts then tune it but be carefull not to lose the set screw i went through 3 of them

FINALLY, It shifted
after putting the black spring in it
she finally shifted
too bad my streets too short to get it to full speed
ill have to fing big parking lot
