What age did your children get into RC?
Just curious as to when the young-uns started wanting to join in with you! Or was it the other way around and they dragged you into it? POst some pics if you got them!! My son is 9 months old currently and every time I break one out he is all about them. His first word was car and he says it as soon as he sees them!!! 
I think the monster trucks are his favorite, but he really likes watching the nitros run!!

I don't have any kids, but I have 3 nieces and a nephew ages 2 to 13. They all love it when Uncle Rich breaks out the RC's. My oldest niece use to go racing with me for a couple of seasons....till she got a little too cool for it. haha Catrina, my 7 year old niece is getting a new Traxxas Rustler from me this Christmas...just got done wrapping it. Was so hard to resist NOT opening the box! haha. Now my Nephew at 2...everytime I have the RC's out he wants to drive them...I need to get a beater for him or something....all my RC's I really just race with. It hurts to see my XXX-T CR wedged under a Jeeps tire!

My daughter is 5. She has 2 of her own RC trucks. Her attention span is still a little short. So she will wander off when she gets bored. But we spend some really qaulity time together because of our shared interest in this hobby.

Adam I don't know how it is in the UK but I would just assume hang a man for thinking of my child or any other child in that way! You are discusting for even bringing that into this forum!!

i'm 16 year old, but i got into RC's when i was 3 with a brand new in box tamiya hotshot my dad got in 85', and i still have it, i'm mstly into nitro's now, i buy everything myself, including fuel, spares, and tools, he got outa it a few years ago, and i got him back into it last year and he bought himself a muggy.

I'm 15, but I got into RC's at about the age of 5. My first RC's were cheap ones from radio shack, but when I was 11, I got my first "Hobby Grade" RC. It was a Traxxas Stampede. It unfortunately got crushed by a large truck coming down my street one day. Then I got my MGT, and basically it just exploded from their. Now I feel like I have too many RC's!
