I just purchased 2 brand new Tamiya Hilux High Lifts one you see in the picture the other have a new in the box not built yet. Also have a Tamiya F-350 High lift,3 light kits all using my credit card.Keep in mind that this isn't your back yard joe selling rc's this is a very professional hobby shop who treat you with respect and apperciation. These people care about satisfying your needs.Every order is delt with utmost importance and confidence. No i am not an employee nor affiliated with obriens hobby but i just want it know how cheap, easy, and great these guys are to deal with.I now support them to the fullest and remain a loyal lifetime customer.I think there deals prices and items should be known to everyone and just because you don't see it on there web site go ahead and ask without a dought they can get it and a rock bottom prices.

Cool, two huh? I wish there was a dodge ram body instead of the ford. I would make it like my full scale Ram. I'm guessing the Toyota and the Ford are the same just different body..? I will probly make the order, it just scares me because I used my debit card online before and someone hacked into my bank account. I'm kinda bored with my other cars right now.I think this will be fun with being able to add lights and stuff like your talking. Building is the best part,I hate how everything is RTR now. I posted most of my cars in my gallery. http://www.rcuniverse.com/community/...y&memid=225234 It only lets me post 15 pics.

There is a few rc's that have a hard dodge body you could get and customize it to fit so it would work.Yeah the toyota and the ford are similar few differences between them like the body mounts and a few other things, but over all they are the same(chassis, drivetrain, gears, tarns, etc)Yeah i understand why you would be scared, can you get one of those cards from money mart that you put money on it when ever you need it?That is the way i did it,very secure.Yeah i get bored after a while too...lol I loved building it,it lets you customize it while building to what ever you like, for example they give you the option of two or four wheel steering.I am about to start building a chevy version of the high lift i am using a clod body.It is cool when you see the lights on it,it looks really good.Nice toys.............................................. ......

A Chevy, nice I was allways a Chevy guy growing up. I blame my brother on buying the Dodge,so far so good. I hope you post some pics.I love the idea of 4 wheel steering,I bought a 7 channel stick airtronics radio for my rockcrawler that I think I will use on the Hilux aswell. I don't know to much what a stock one looks like but it loks like you have some aluminum underneith. Is that part of the lift you were talking about or is it stock stuff?
P.S let me know if I'm driving you nuts yet.

Hey if a vehicle drives why not drive it,I will post some pics.I liked the idea of 4 wheel steering but decided to make it 2 wheel. That radio could work. There is an aluminum skid plate underneith but the other aluminum parts you see are stock other than in the pics where the shocks are shinny mount is part of the lift kit, the leaf spring mounts that mount to the frame(aluminum shinny)are also part of the lift kit,but everything else is stock other than the tires, rims, and the paint oh lol and the lift kit.Nope not driving me nuts yet..................lmao

RE: Tamiya Hilux High Lift....CHECK IT OUT!
So are the light kits pricey? can you do seperate ones like head lights, tail, roll bar ? This will allways be an on going project, not just put it together and be done. My other buddies are into how fast will it go? I'm into that too but there is a time for showing off and having some pride in what you've done you know? I'm 34 now and got my first car when I was about 11 or 12. now that I'm able to afford the hobby I have quite an addiction. I keep telling myself this will be the last one, hahaha..also are you getting the lights and lift kit from O'brien Hobbies?
Thanks for your help

Nope the light kits arn't at all.Yeah you can get them seperate(headlight/taillights,roll bar, etc)Right why not take the time and do it the way you want,so when it is done you can take pride in what you did.It seems like as soon as you get into the hobby you are automaticly addicted to it.I said that one the last one i did, never is the end.....lol Yeah obrien"s hobbies sells the light kits that is where i got mine from...........Your welcome

RE: Tamiya Hilux High Lift....CHECK IT OUT!
I'm thinking I need a new radio..I have the Airtronics VG6000 and it doesn't have a throttle center return spring. It's more for airplanes I guess, when you move the throttle it stays there. If I ever wanted to add the MFC-02 I think I need a different radio.Dang! O'well it's always something, part of the hobby I guess.[&o]
