RE: **OFFICIAL** MXT-2S THREAD
Thank you guys for all the comments. It really is quicker than I was expecting. The esc (not sure if it's meant to do this or not) seems to cut off power if you slam the throttle from a stop. However if I am able to not have it cut off, I can slam the throttle and it'll sit and basically spin the tires for a good length of time on pavement.
I also tried to take another video. I'm sorry for the poor quality but it's something at least.

RE: **OFFICIAL** MXT-2S THREAD
hey guys, hows it going? It's been quiet lately.
So heres the status on my MXT. For the fall/winter, I am going to run it as an MXT-3 I guess you could say. I'm thinking of possibly locking the center diff for the winter so that it does better in the snow. I may try to get the buggy wing back on there if it will fit with the truck body also.
Then during the winter I will be getting parts together for the racing season in the spring/summer of next year. I will probably run it as a Short Course truck which really isn't too far off from the buggy. Then I'll get some sc tires and I"m gonna keep the 1/8 buggy tires/wheels for bashing.
I've got an order from eddie coming and a set of truggy wheels/tires I won off of ebay for $8.81
Here are some pictures of how it stands now

RE: **OFFICIAL** MXT-2S THREAD
Alright so I got the truggy (XTT) wheels and tires in and I'm thinking that since they're 0 offset I should try and find some with more offset. It looks kinda funny with the 0 offset wheels. I found some proline 1/2'' offset wheels that should work, does anyone know of any with more offset?
Edit: It seems like 1/2'' offset should do just fine.

i like the look of the 0 offset, loos a little more realistic (scale) but the wider stance will make it handle better.

Proline, Jammin, and Losi all make 1/2 inch offset rims, (at least they Used to).
1/2 inch OffSet is as much offset as I could find, unless you use stock Himoto rims which have a 1-1/2 to 2 inch offset.
I got some Losi 8ight T 1.0, (not 2.0) rims/tires from an EBAY vendor at a decent price.
Used em on my MXT 2S and they work Great. (But you have to convert the Hubs to 17 mm)......

Thanks adam, I was thinking of trying it out at the track.
And also for the winter, I'm thinking of getting some aluminum or very strong plastic and maybe make a snow plow and put it in place of the front bumper.

IS THIS THREAD STILL ACTIVE? i AM SEEKING HELP ON A RECIENTLY AQUIRED MXT-2S TRUCK.
I have replaced the "C" and the knuckle with the upgrade MPO-2 and MPO-3 parts and now my drive axles will not work with this set up. the stub axle is way too short now, due to the thicker design of the aluminum parts. is there a correct part to use with the aluminum knuckle?
also if this is the case, do I need different dog bones from diff to wheel?
thanks

If you have the original hubs and knuckles (thinner hubs, long bones, short stub axles), you would be using these parts:
- [link=http://server.sohouniverse.net/~himotora/shopping/pgm-more_information.php?id=61&=SID#MOREINFO]903-013[/link] (2 per package)
- [link=http://server.sohouniverse.net/~himotora/shopping/pgm-more_information.php?id=250&=SID#MOREINFO]903-019[/link] (2 per package)
- [link=http://server.sohouniverse.net/~himotora/shopping/pgm-more_information.php?id=63&=SID#MOREINFO]903-015[/link] (2 per package)
- [link=http://server.sohouniverse.net/~himotora/shopping/pgm-more_information.php?id=289&=SID#MOREINFO]903-058[/link] (2 per package)
If you have the newer version (thicker hubs, short bones, longer stub axles), you would be using these parts:
- [link=http://server.sohouniverse.net/~himotora/shopping/pgm-more_information.php?id=1960&=SID#MOREINFO]903-015N[/link]
- [link=http://server.sohouniverse.net/~himotora/shopping/pgm-more_information.php?id=1961&=SID#MOREINFO]903-058N[/link]
