I don't think I want to go smaller yet. Can't wait for the BIG one to get here. But that little beetle does look sweet.

Ok guys these little suckers kick Azz and take names, super FAST, starts first pull. I had a bit of a booboo at the end I lost control at high speed and smacked the curb and had a fantastic accident tires, dog bones, fuel, axle hubs went flying every where. Here's some pics before I killed it. I was pretty sad, I only got to play with it about 15 minutes before I destroyed it.

I have the mini cobra. It's cool. Pretty fast for being so small. It's kind hard to work on, everything is minature. But they are fun. I hit a car tire and busted the support for the rear lower arm. I just epoxied it back together and it works great. Hard to hold those little parts though. LOL

The new 1/14 Mini beetle 2speed model has a much longer running time(close to 15 minutes) with a bigger fuel tank.

No I was not aiming to hit the curb on purpose, Ya all don't understand, that thing is lightning fast and bit top heavy ya have to take turns very slowly and not at all at high speeds, just the slightest turn will have it swearving all over the place, if I had turned it would have sent it cart wheeling in to the curb, it does endows when you hit the brakes hard, so it would have goone bowling in to the curb like a bowling ball, so I picked the lesser of the evils and slowed it down as much as I could in hopes I could turn it enough to graze the curb, which I think it went well considering. Your right rich, I was plesentlly suprised that I only proke on part.

Just to verify, it does have a .07 engine with a side mount round exhaust, Very nice set up, the engine started on the first pull and ran like a champ. Very impressive little engine, held a tune very nicely and ran around 220 to 260 ish 260 was after three or for high speed passes with out stopping, otherwise it easily stayed in the 220 to 230 ish range. Love and can't wait to get it fixed and back out doing some more runs with it maybe this time in a open area with some dirt and a couple small jumps. By the way not only does it run GREAT on the street but it seems to be able to power through grassy lawns fairly easily. My rating for the mini megap is 10 on a scale of 1-10.

Is the 1/14 scale beetle and the 1/16 scale truck the same as far as motor size and 2-speed transmission, if not what are the sizes of the motors and trannys in each vehicle?

Thanks
