Bars are a big liabitily bro, be careful, i was looking to get one few years ago until i found out about the insurance.  Send me some video when you get a chance, i would like to see it.

Everything is good, construction business is booming, very busy with that, RC has slowed down but i think thats true for everyone in the business right now, its a funny time of year for hobby, should pick up soon.  I ran last weekend and I am looking forward to running this weekend, going to work saturday but take off sunday and monday.

Eddie, its a 1/10 scale syclone buggy. I'm just after some agressive tires that will work well in sand, and another set that will do well in clay/mud. the stock set of tires I've got dont do well in sandy or loose soils, works amazing in grasses tho. nothing like green debris thrown 5 ft in the air! Kansas tends to have several different soil types, naturally, depending on where you're running. 2 miles in a given direction can change your setup completely.

for clay and packed dirt you want something with pins, small pins.  On loose surface like sand, you need something with some tread, large pins.

changed my idea for the 1/16 rocket car a little bit...gonna have one primary..2 secondary and 1 "d" series for third...if i can keep it on the ground it should fly..lol

hey ehroof...quick question....are all brushless motors built about the same?  after running my revo last week the magnet came loose from the shaft inside the motor...looks like all the did is glue it on...so i ripped it apart and used some high temp loc-tite...works great again but kinda disappointed in novaks motor....do they all glue them together?  wouldn't it be just as easy to spline the magnet/shaft or weld it?  seems like lack of planning to me......asked for advice on someone else's page but got no response...figure my rc guru would know..lol

i think the magnet has to be glued, solder, or weld will take away from how the magnet is supposed to perform.

looped it twice and still only came up with 48sec...lol...first was the "b" series...didn't move it much really but go it rolling...then came 2 "c" and one "d" series rockets and wow....while it was moving i would put it up against anything else I've built...made the little fella fun again anyways..lol
