Just curious Adam, did you weigh them compared to stock? How much more weight do they add? I like the looks of them.

I would Weigh them but i dont have a Scale that will weigh that light of a weight.
i might have to pick up a small scale soon....

Did the first little bit of breakin today. this thing is a beast. My finger barely touched the throttle and it took off (accident of course). also did alittle modification to it (ill post pics later).

the body is a RJ Speed Stinger. should be getting a gallon or two thursday so i can drive some more. no fail safe yet. i ve been keeping fresh batterys and really close until i do get one.

Wahoo - just ordered an RXT and can't wait. Now I need to make sure I have what I need to run. For the 28 engine, do you use a cooler plug? I use OS A3s for my 18s, but thought I saw a comment about OS #8 plugs. Other than that, am I correct in assuming the RXT uses all the same stuff like fuel, glow plug ignitor, fuel filter oil, etc, etc?

I suggest med to med/hot plug (#8) and all the other stuff is the same bro. Congrats, you got a great truggy bro, you will love it.

I got a rtr .....just swapping engines and pipe....I cant leave it stock...just not my style...lol

I already have the engine..almost installed it on a torpeda last night instead of getting online...I always said if I ordered a rxt-1 I would have a xtm 457 sleeve/piston waiting on it....instead I got the whole engine and a cool pipe...lol

I'm buying one of those XTM 457 engines too,,,,For my Monsoon......
I got a lead on one For CHEAP.......and I'll throw a Piston and sleeve in my Blown SH .28 latter on.....and use it for another Truck!

yeah I bought mine on a sale...didnt have a use for it at the time but figured what the heck it was cheap....nothing like having something laying around to make somethin go fast....lol

good news....as you can see in the first pic no need to mod the clutchbell to a standard clutchbell, its already done....got the new engine and pipe on..still need to do some tweaking here and there and put the new fluids in it...did have some other pics but somethin messed up
