AllAboutFunHobbies (Wade) and i will be getting our drift tires soon... and we will be making some video of our Drifting skills...
LOL.....
Wade is buying his tires..... and ill be making mine out of Black or white PVC pipe......
we should have some videos up in the next week or so....

So i just wanted to get this thread started for Drifting...

LOL.. yoou can make a Drift car with a Electric car also.. not just nitro...
when i was at RCX they had alot of drift cars... all were electric..

you going to make tires out of PVC pipe? That thing is not going to go anywhere, it is just going to sit in one spot spinning the tires.

I made some drift tires a few months back and it was a BLAST!!! It cost all but $5 for enough material to make 3-4 sets.

PS: The black stuff is ABS pipe not PVC.

Nice video Derek, too bad its not a himoto though, would have been a much better video since our 1/10 onroads come with an infinity/sh.18 and a pivot ball suspension standard [8D]

I think the Infinity/SH would actually be harder to drift with. There is no need for that much power in a drift car, the power starts to work against you. I honestly think a bone stock electric would make for a great drift car.

PS: My video kinda sucks to be honest. I need to make another one when I have someone to help film.

actually the extra power will spin the wheels faster and make it drift easier once you learn how to control it. You also need to lock it into first gear or make it a single speed.

well i got my rims and ABS tires in today... same time... LOL..
my rims came from Suffern, NY and my abs Tires came from Anaheim, Ca....
go figure.. LOL...

You wish, bring it on, when I'm done with my car were gonna have a drifting contest. SO ALL YA LL GET OUT THERE AND START BUYING SOME DRIFT CARS. THE OFF road crap has been done to death, lol.
