Sounds like you need to turn the trim down on the radio, its the knob with the th on it, your idle screw is set too low so when you hit the brake it closes the carb, you need to adjust the idle screw so it keeps the carb from closing all the way and the trim needs to be set so it wont keep the carb open too much.

its not the tuning needles bro, its the idle setup. You need to turn the radio system off, make the throttle linkage close by hand as much as they will and turn the idle screw clockwise until there is a 1mm gap on the carb, this way it wont close when you hit the brake. Also you need to trim the idle down using the trim knob or trim feature on the radio until the carb is to its min setting and not applying the brakes, here is a picture to show you the needles

i know, i just meant the clutch bell, its aluminum, i dont think himoto ever used aluminum, only steel. the aluminum clutch bells ate spur gears like crazy and broke alot too. You need to get a steel clutch bell.
