ok fellers...took my rxb-1 to the lil bmx track I run on today...and am quite pleased...buggy handles good and it took the abuse....no broken parts..got it in the air about 4 ft an it flew pretty level (although I did do my normal cartwheels and end over end flips)...I got it setting as low as it goes and it did bottom out pretty hard a few times...I have some diff fluid for it 1000 fer the front 7000 for the center and 5000 for the rear...will have some 45wt and 55wt shock oil and a couple upgrades for it this coming week..oh and some new tires as the the ones that are on it are no the designated pavement tires..lol should be a nice setup fer some fun next weekend

gbi, do tou race the rxb-1 pro??
6061 aluminum is really rare on competition kits but i guess it's just to keep the cost down. if a ''used'' car that i'm looking into gets sold before the 10th of july i think i may get the rxb-1 pro[8D] what upgrades are available????

I been looking at the rxb-1 pro pics...Eddie you may check into this...it appears to me it has all the billet goodies on it..the milled chassis (dont know the grade of it but I think its a totally diff chassis). all cv shaft and all the carbon fiber goodies... if the buggy in the pic is what you get it has all the hop-ups

I really like the look of this buggy and for the price looks like one of the best you can get for that price, way better than like a hyper 7 or something. Are there any issues at all with the RXB-1 that need to be addressed as far as racing and stuff to look out for?

I am curious if the motor is moved forward on the chassis or if it is still towards the rear close the the rear diff cases. Anybody got pics of the KIT one? or is it called something else, the one with no motor or electronics.

RE: ***OFFICIAL*** RXB-1 THREAD
Back from the dead, I finally had the time today to put the RXB-1 back together. New lower control arms, new hinge pins, new universals, new shock mount, new hinge pin holders and a new Nomadio radio system. Most of you know what happened, but if you do not, my reciever failed and it took off down the street hitting a curb at full speed then hitting a parked car. Himoto racing USA and Himoto racing stood behind there product. They asked for pictures of the damage, and wanted the radio back. That was it. They then sent a radio system and all the parts that were damaged. In the RC business, this is un-heard of. I thought i would share that with you. Here is the pic of it back together.

There are really no issues when it comes to racing, just the standard, electronics and servos. It looks alot like the Mugen I mean alot. The clutch bell has been fixed, so the long clutch bell is gone like on the monsoon. If your thinking about one, I think it would give your casters a run.

cv shafts came yesterday (woohoo no more dogbones..lol)...along with some new tires...not sure what im going to do for an engine quite yet...would have loved to see how the 3 port go was going to run with a couple gallons through it...but could use the money I'd spend rubuilding it on a 5 port or 7 port...cant decide which to get....might add some other goodies like some carbon fiber and some billet aluim...
