Too appeal to all their customers. I'm not a big fan of electric myself, so I would have never purchased a Slash. But now that I see this truck I might just pick it up when it comes out.

My friend is getting a slash soon but know i think we will both get these and roll together.
lol, also remembered the rcx....someone was witholding information
if you watch the iterview you can see him give a small bit of info away to the slayer when
he says "stampeed transmision, front and rear." Did anyone else catch that?

Looks like almost as big of a turd as the slash, RCs aren't meant to be compact like that, sacrificing handling and everything for full scale looks is dumb. [:'(]

With the way this truck is setup, is the slash class gonna die? This truck looks like a revo-slash so they called it a slayer?
My local track is gonna have this class, within its own class, the slashes couldnt compete with this and it would be unfair.
Once again just like they did the revo, all traxxas cares about is the nitro crowd, and make crappy electrics that are not even
up to par for racing. They finnally gave us an E-revo and now this.....

Just convert the slayer to electric, its not as hard as you think and it will do great in electric form. If you ask alot of the revo guys who converted to electric they will tell you pretty much go with the e-maxx/e-revo tranny and the rest is just fabbing or getting conversion parts to fit the batterys and controler etc. Since the slayer is not much different than a revo then it should be pretty simple to do. Just have to make sure your gearing will work with the smaller tires since the tranny is based off bigger diameter tires.
