RC Waffle- SCAMMER! Get the word out!
I was in disbelief about this...
Basically, RCWaffle bought a car from this guy on eBay. Then RCWaffle claimed that he never received the car, even though tracking showed that the item delivered. RCWaffle submits an item not received claim, and gets the payment reversed and gets his money back.
Low and behold, RCWaffle begins listing parts from the car that he says he never received!!!
Read this. It's case closed to me- the evidence is there. This is fraud in its purest form!

I have sold trucks to rcwaffle and the description of the parts listed from my trucks were so far off. I sold a t maxx with a picco that had about 3 gallons. He listed it as like new just broke in.

What RCwaffle did is a federal crime and can easily be prosecuted. Its a federal crime because he used the mail to commit fraud.

Thats sad to hear. I have 2 transactions with him, and they were okay. I am really surprised how much negative feedback he has now.
If there was a form of proof of delivery, the payment should have not been reversed.
I have a buyer who put a claim on me too before, Paypal held the amount for 1 week until they made their investigation. I did not have to do anything, because I printed and purchased the shipping label through paypal - so they already know where the item is. Payment was not reversed.

Too bad I'm banned from RC tech....the mod and most people on there didnt like me that much...oh well...[&o]
I still got to read all of it Dale...thanks
I got scammed on ebay many times by people.[:@] They just take your money and act like nothing happened.
The point is buy from the good sellers, not from people who dont have that much pos+ feedback.
Always check thier feedback.
The moment I just typed this Ebay caught him and ended his auctions. At least for that car anyhow.

Wow... I FREAKING KNEW this type of thing was going to start happening when eBay changed their feedback system! I KNEW IT!!!! Very glad I stopped selling on eBay when they changed the system.
Thanks for the warning.
-EDIT- Looks like he's in Heyburn, Idaho. I've now posted this on boiserc. Hopefully the guys in Twin Falls will catch wind, as that will likely be his home track (assuming he races).

RE: RC Waffle- SCAMMER! Get the word out!
The one thing I saw that makes me wonder, It says there under Seller Protection that the seller is Eligible.
Paypal must have some very good explanation why they granted RCwaffle the reversal even with the tracking info.
The only thing I can think of is something about shipping insurance or under Lost and/or Stolen packages. Sometimes my packages are left at my door steps, anybody can just take them, but usps will still show that it was delivered.
The waffle was one of my watched sellers when it come to small items only, because he just parts out every little nut and bolt. I would not buy from him anymore.
Thanks again for the warning.
Edit: As an ebay seller also, he would be the first one on my blocked ebay members.

I thought you had to require a signature along with delivery confirmation to qualify for seller protection under PayPal/eBay.

Anyone ever notice that there seems to be an inordinate amount of scams posted on rctech. Seems to be the case to me. Just an observation.

EVERYONE that reads this needs to send him a quick(or long....your choice) email to this guy through Ebay. Let's over load his email inbox everyday! Even if it's a blank email......just send something. If we could get 100-500 people to do it.......That would send a message that he being watched closely by MANY!

RE: RC Waffle- SCAMMER! Get the word out!
I just bought heli parts from RCWaffle and had no issues and got it quick.
No offense, but you should have used signature required. I use that for all my shipments.
I had read those links and can see how it boils down to one man against another.
Nobody can prove that that tracking number is for what RCWaffle bought.
I doubt I will buy from him again, but because he has high shipping costs.
Like all the other threads on other sites say, the seller can scam the buyer too. How do we know this seller is being honest?
I mean really? Does he think he has the only one car in the world like his?
