Frusturating problem
Alright I've got an MXT-2S. When I want to go full throttle, the vehicle wants to die, and eventually does even when easing on the gas.
Carb settings:
HSN: 2 3/4 Turns out
LSN: 1/4 turn out from flush (not even that really)
No engine mods other than traxass high stall clutch shoes, Himoto fuel filter
I've got tmaxx wheels and tires w/ 1.5in extensions
I've tryied all HSN and LSN settings under the sun still the same result. Would the Tmaxx Tires and wheels with the 1.5in extensions make any difference? Any help would be much appericiated.

Did you try a new plug? Check for blockage in the tank, fuel lines or fuel filter. 2 1/2 out on the high and 4 out on the low is a good setting for the infinity and sh with the slide carbs. Does it do it when it cold, warm or does it not matter? How is the compression?

Already Checked for blockage. Compression is good. It acts up in warm or chilly conditions.... the only thing I haven't tryied is a new plug ...

same thing was happening to me , when i put a new plug in , it was fine, by the way ,how long should a plug last before it's time to change it?

it really depends, it can last for months or a few runs. If tuned good it will last a while if running lean, you can burn the plug out real fast.

It really DOES just DEPEND...lol....
I've learned the hard way that plugs that LOOK ok may NOT be ok.
At $5 a pop, its hard to just Throw 'em away though.
Now, if I am having a problem and I change a Plug......If changing the plug doesnt immediately solve the problem....I save it for later.
When I finally solve whatever problem I am having (and I ALWAYS solve the problem....Eventually, Lol!) I throw the old Plug in and see if it works....If not, I throw it away.
