Why arn't you supposed to leave fuel in tanks?
I'm a begginer, and hear you arn't supposed to leave nitro fuel in your fuel tank on your car. Why is this, and will it hurt your car if you do it?

How can you dispose of fuel?(made the mistake of leaving my Blue Thunder in the tank on my RC10GT)

I run it till the tank is empty. Then I pull the glowplug, put
after run oil in the carb and put it on the starter box for a few
turns to get the oil to circulate.
It dosnt take that much time and it makes me feel like I
am taking care of my investment in fun!

how is it any different than leaving fuel in the bottle?It seems like it wouldn't make a difference but then again I'm new with nitro and I don't actually know.

well hopefully your fuel bottle has a nice secure air tight seal. your fuel tank can get air in it many ways, like lines or top.
when i put my car away for a while i just take the lower hose off and let it run onto the ground.
if it broke with half a tank and im gonna drive in a few days i just leave it in there.

I don't think leaving fuel in the tank hurts anything, unless you leave it in there for long periods of time. When I get home from driving my vehicles, I clean them, then I fill the tanks so they're ready for the next time out. Of course, I rarely go more than a few days between driving sessions.
