Ive never tried any of those brands, but based on what ive read/heard, They are all OK, but you are unlikely to find parts at your LHS.
If the choice is out of those three, get the one you can get parts for locally, if you cannot get any, I would go with tower, since its more of a "basher" brand so more likely to be built tough, and you can get parts fast with "parts express" (that is, if you are talking tower like towerhobbies.comm if not Ive never heard of it) None of them have a huge aftermarket right now....

Honestly, the best truck for you is one you like that you can get parts for locally.... It does you no good to have a great truck if you are out of commission for a week and have to pay $5-$10 shipping whenever you break something....

You will notice you dont hear too much about any of them... That doesn't mean they arent great, just that they arent that popular... The more popular your truck, the more likely it is that someone can help when you have a question, and the more likely you can find aftermarket parts, be it bling or stuff to make it tougher/faster....

I believe they tend to foul easily if you are running very, very rich. They will gather a brown goo (castor oil I believe) and that will end up drowning the plug. Don't hold me to what I said though as I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure.

No it's not btw just those brands, I just didn't want to eliminate a good truck because it aint that popular. I'm leaning btw a revo and mgt. But I'm not sure how much the 4.3 mgt and the 8.0 mgt. Have in common.

I got some questions about running nitro.

1. Do you think a 12 and 13 year old could handle tuning them?

2. Can you run them in cold weather?

3. What should I look for in a nitro truck?

4. What should I stay away from?

I did tuning at 13, you just have to learn it!

Yes you can run them in cold weather, but how cold are you talking?

The T-maxx

The Warhead evo/RTX-27, and all Duratrax stuff.......believe me, I lead the hard way. [:@]

Hope I helped,

Very good, you just need to put a new fuel tank seal on, their stock one is horrible.

I don't know how cold, whatever they can stand. Or maybe they'll stay in living room and run them in the front yard.

If I put the traxxas waterproof servos in would snow and water be a problem?

Not for the servos, but you still need to protect the reciver. easiest way is by putting it in a balloon and sealing the end.... when you run in cold weather, you need to keep the engine from running too cold... easiest way is to wrap aluminum foil around the cooling head to hold the heat in.... also keep in mind plastic breakes easier when its cold, so you need to be a little more carefull than normal, and you need to make sure you dry it out well after running. A light coating of WD-40 before you run in the wet is highly recomended. Dont spray it right on the truck, spray it on a rag and wipe it on...
