braking?
Hi guys.
When I am running my buggy, I cant push the trigger forward without the engine cutting out. Why?
To brake do you only push it a little bit?
Help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

RE: braking?
i would go with tiemac on this one, you need to turn the idle screw clocwise until the carb does not close when you hit the brake.
Take the air cleaner off, look inside and hit the brakes, the small gap closes when you hit the brakes right? If it does you have to turn the idle screw clockwise a turn and check again. Keep doing it until the gap closes.
Depending on the engine you have, the idle screw will have a spring on it or be on the side.

ok...radio on engine not running, take off your air cleaner...look down the throat of the carb...it needs to have a 1mm opening...while looking into the carb hit the brakes and you will see it completly shut, this you do not want as it shuts off all the air...now if you have 1mm opening with your finger off the trigger screw in your idle screw until your carb starts to move..then hit your brakes..it should remain at 1mm opening with the brakes applied...if you dont have a 1mm opening with your finger off the trigger adjust your throttle trim until you do so
