Help Which truck should i get??
im having trouble choosing what truck i want to get i think i have it narrowed down to these two trucks on my budget the traxxas t-maxx 2.5r or the duratrax RT-X 27 http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitr...x_tmaxx25r.htm http://www.duratrax.com/cars/dtxd71-rt-x27/ i know t-maxxs are pretty good but this duratrax has a 4.4 in it and seems very durable and i think it would be alot faster let me know what you think i should get.

yea, truggys like the duratrax excel at the track, but are less than ideal for "real" off-road driving like a construction site or empty field... (its not a true truggy, but its built more like a truggy than a monster truck) Monster trucks are better for general bashing IMHO....
Plus nearly every hobby shop that carrys rc car parts will have parts for a t-maxx... if a hobby shop can only carry parts for ONE car, it will be the t-maxx, becuase there are SOOO many of them out there..... (there actualy is a hobby shop near my house that carrys mostly heli's, planes, and boats, but still has an entire wall devoted to t-maxx, revo, and other traxxas parts....)
on the other hand, the duratrax does have a 1 year warrany on the plastic parts so if someting breaks, you get a new part free.. but you have to wait for it in the mail...
I would still get the t-maxx....

I'd get the T-maxx. Ideally I'd recommend the most updated version of the 3.3 - but even the 2.5 has tons of hop up options and aftermarket support - can't go wrong if you just want to bash.

but keep in mind the 3.3 doesnt have reverse.... the 2.5 does.... I would go for the 2.5 and upgrade it, since reverse is VERY important to me, since im a basher only. It comes in handy over and over, especialy when it get caught in the corner of a fence trying to turn around, or on the sidewalk facing the street with a car comming, and dont want to wait for the car to go by to continue bashing (since the speed limit on my street is only 20mph, sometimes it takes a while
)... Im actualy in the middle of converting a .15.... just waiting for my christmas bonus to get the RPM front arms, rear true-track conversion, 3.3 driveshafts and axial .28 engine
