It would be good for a plane, not a car. That is a PLANE battery. Those batteries have really bad "punch." Also a 2s lipo would b muh more controllable!

Actually that battery is a 25c Rate and a 50c Burst... 25C Times 3300mah = 82500 then to get amps you divide by 1000.. 82500/1000= 82.5 amps discharge and somewhere around 165 amps during the "50c" Burst...I would say the Battery would be well suited in a Rustler VXL... Most people want the most they can get I have a few vehicles when running on 2s there "slow".. I think that he should go for the 3s and that is a Very good battery to do so....

There is no difference between the lipos they use for cars and planes besides the hard shells for Roar approval.

Outrage makes great lipos but I caution you to make sure the battery will physically fit before buying it.

Just be careful with your gearing and monitor your temps. I've never gone 3S on any of my land vehicles yet, probably won't for any of my 1/10. I have very little interest in going really fast in a straight line.

Yeah its kinda crazy going 60+mph, especially when the stock radio and servo are very touchy and it doesn't take much to send you flying off the road.

I run a 3s with very similar specs in my rc18b. It's a lot of fun. Yeah, if you only know wide open it can be hard to control but isn't that why the throttle is variable from 0 to full. You soon learn throttle control and they drive just fine. I think you'll be just fine using that in a 1/10 scale, bet it will be tons of fun.
