Super glue and baking soda? How did you strip a spur gear? These things seem to be impossible to strip, I almost always land off jumps on the throttle and haven't stripped one yet.

Cam, I have no idea how you are stripping that spur gear. I only stripped one and it was 100% my fault because I left the bearing out of the center (can't go very far like that!). My guess is that you tightened the slipper all the way down or something? I would tighten the nut so it is fully compressed, and then back it out 1 1/4 to 2 turns.

I have to agree with them, I am still running my original ones from a year ago.

Yea, that is something I would avoid at all costs. If you tighten the slipper all the way, it'll strip every time...........it's just the nature of the slipper clutch

Bah, who needs a slipper? LOL, we still have the same spurs on ours too, just had to throw in my two cents and have some good video of the Mega-P MTR at the monster jams weekend before last, ok maybe not some good video but a few jumps and the carage that followed (my wifes an RC killer, she lives to destroy them, lol) of and no video of the MTR but we did kill it too and two T-maxxes and a Redcat Shockwave were all killed, BUT you will be happy to know that no savages were "harmed" during the making of this video, lol.
