***OFFICIAL MEGA E MT10 THREAD***
Hi,
I got my megae yesterday, saw them and ran them at the i hobby expo in october 08, these are a much nicer truck then the older style electrics we have, much better center shaft and all around setup. Here are a couple of pics of mine, also check out the controller, very nice with epa adjustments. These are truely brusless ready too, come rtr with a 2000mah battery too.

I think this has been asked before, just don't remember. Will there be a version of the MegaEs that already has the brushless esc and motor? If I got one (I want one already!) I'd just drop in a brushless system anyway.l

Guys......
That Radio is lookin SWEET,,,,,for an RTR Radio......
End Point Adjustments (E.P.A.) is Crucial for a well adjusted Servo System!
There are only a Few RC companies the have decent RTR radios, with E.P.A. included....
Ive been Hoping that Himoto would Go in this Direction with the New Models, and it looks like I'm going to get my Wish.....
.......The Truck looks Nice too........[sm=tongue_smile.gif]Good Job HIMOTO!!![sm=thumbs_up.gif]

STRAIT OUT OF THE BOX TO THE CUTTING TABLE. I installed a Mamba max, 4600kv, A123 9.9v, and holy cow what a difference.
35 to 40 and handles great The only issue is the body ripped due to the rear tire contacting in mid air/landing wrong. I know that it is one nice step up from the redcat valcano. way better lines and better chassis over all.
2.2 rims so I can add some bow ties for the track. I think the only thing that could be better would be a slipper clutch.

This thing is fun. The 6900kv is overkill for this rc. I tried it out today with that 9.9v and wow instant backflips, self righting just from the gyro effect from the tires. The 4600kv is perfect for on and off road, tons of power but not insane. the 6900kv would be a little bit more tamer with a 6.6v 4600Mah pack I think.

you were able to do standing backflips with it?
also, this question is for eddie,
i noticed that is has plastic diffs and was wondering if there will be steel diffs available for it soon?
i would buy this truck if it had the following:
steel diff upgradeable
slipper clutch
thicker shock towers available
stronger dogbones available
any other drivetrain upgrades that would help it stand up to 3s lipo
other than that, i REALLY like the looks of this truck. i just wish the drivetrain was capable of handleing my kind of driving. i know my emxt-1 couldn't handle the himoto brushless system and 6 cell ni-mh battery with my kind of driving. it made me cringe every time i heard the diffs skip gears.

The diffs are steel not plastic, the dogbones are much thicker than the "original electrics" we sell. I am pretty sure we will have a slipper available for it in the future along with upgades for the shock tower, as far as the drive train goes, its designed to use a brushless system. I will take some pictures of how thick the dogbones are, especially compared to the older style cars.

RE: ***OFFICIAL MEGA E MT10 THREAD***
i got my mt10 and i love the look of it. but i gotta say i'm swappin the body for my hummer body with the tricked out lights, thx kupp. i got the brushless setup for it but i still need to get a lipo setup for it. what would work best for it? i got the himoto brushless for it. i also picked some wheels for it. the center of the rims looks pretty thin and look like they would break so i got some hpi 5 spoke wheels. the same ones i got on my viper, the gun metal grey 2.2's with some proline moabs. the same size as the stock wheels.if anyone remembers my viper they know what my wheels look like. ed if you got any idea what spec i should use for a lipo let me know by txt message. i wont be on here for a few weeks, i'm back on the road on friday morning.

Eddie....
That Blue and White body in post #1 is pretty cool!
I like the Shape of it too....And not a Hint of PINK Anywhere either.
Do you think that bodystyle would fit a Viper?

RE: ***OFFICIAL MEGA E MT10 THREAD***
updates on my mt. I tore up my body to the point of throwing it away. I took apart my tsunami and used the ajustible steering links and the ajustible uper links. if ot works i am going to take some slash tires with the redcat volcano stub axles and wheel wideners and add a Tamiya F-150 ta02 body for the prerunner look.
Eddy is there a part number for the shock bottom link?
