rear wheels coming lose
rear wheels in vxl stampede with wheel extensions keep coming lose.I used some thread lock but maybe the tamiya thread locks is not strong enough.don't want to use to strong of stuff that would not come out when for maintance time.THe wheel extensions work greattt!!! no more fliping. At top speed turning ie easy, but every so often you have to come in and tighten up the wheel nuts.thanks

I've never had to use anything more than blue thread lock for wheel nuts, no matter what the case. It's possible you have a bad bottle of thread lock. Make sure the threads are clean, and let the thread lock dry over night.
If you still need something stronger... Mix blue and red thread lock to get purple thread lock. It's not permanent, but it'll be stronger than the blue. I always use purple on my grub screws.

Check to see if the drive hexes are fully seated over the axle pins. A regular lock nut should be more than enough keep the wheel on.

Strangely this seems to be a common problem on stampedes and rustlers. I've seen a lot of threads (not only on RCU) about this problem.

nylock nuts don't last forever. It might be time to replace them with new ones.

I use Wave Washers on my 17mm/20mm & 23mm Hex's these days,(Much better than Loctight)
