Default Converting an airplane starter for nitro use?

Has anyone ever tried to mount a thin tire on the starter hub to use in starting a nitro car?

Goto your LHS they should carry a small ring that fits around your starter. But believe me a hand held isn't the easiest to hold under your car.

Okay call me a n00b, what the heck is this magic "box" you speakl of? Am I to understand that it will allow me to start my car without pull-starting it? Or does this only work for certain cars/trucks? I have a Nitro Razor XT if that matters...

I see alot of talk about this but have no idea what the heck it is..

it's called a starter box it has 1 or 2 motors that spin a rubber wheel to turn the flywheel on your nitro.

www.ofna.com look up starter boxes they sell quite a few different models I have part #10253 and it spins my new Hyper21. 8port race version good
