hey everyone in last months xtreme rc mag there was a tip to use a denture brush for cleaning your car (costed me $2.13 here in NH) works pretty good has a big brush a small brush and a little pick type thing. anyway that got me looking for random stuff and i found a miniature funnel with a screen costed $1.88. i always seem to get clumps of dirt in the bottom of my nitro bottle so i thought it was a good idea. just wanted to throw out a few ideas and see what you guys use thats cheap and works very well

I stick a clear mailing slip inside of my tool box to keep all of my setups and manuals etc...keeps them clean and handy.

I have some small medical clamps I got when I worked for a veterinary supply company. I still have lots of waterproof medical tape from there too. It works great as a reinforcement for car bodies....

I have to say one of the most handy things I have in my box is a telescoping wand w/ magnet on the end to get those small screws that you always seem to drop just as you thought it had started threading....

Also, clip on led lights, ya you look like a dork with them on (clipped to hat) but it really does help you see what you're doing, especially when it's getting late.

I got a tooth brush for cleaning and a led pen light that I hold in my mouth to see what I'm doing. Lol.

uhh i have a large syringe(sp?) that i use to suck the left over fuel out my tanks after a run or a breakdown

I have magnets, 2" paint brush, tooth brush, and q-tips. Their may be a couple of other odd items in their I can't think of right now. Oh yeah, plumbers tape(like sand paper). I use all of it though. It's all very handy for different things.

As for condoms being for sailors, well, I guess I'm a sailor too asI always have one in my carpenter pockets! Lord knows I LOVENOT having Gonoherpesyphilaids!!!!!!!

The title of the thread is "what's in your toolbox that's random"

People post a lot of stuff they use for RC stuff.

That is not random.

Random would be the 10 inch long Rambo knife that's in ThunderbirdJunkie's work toolbox
and the drawer full of snack foods

I also have a toothbrush in with my tools.  I use a plastic baby wipe box as a tool box.  I got tired of all my sockets rolling around in the bottom of the big tool box so in the baby wipe box they went.  I later transferred all my allen wrenches to a baby wipe box too.
