Default I love my Dremel :)

Late last night while working on my TB Evo V build I ended up stripping the head of a 2mm hex screw. What made it awkward was that it's recessed into the carbon fibre lower deck. Got the ol' $60 Dremel out and cut a nice slot into the head for a flat head screwdriver and it worked like a charm. I would've been screwed without the trusty Dremel. Best $60 investment I've ever made! [8D]

No, it doesn't sound good, but thanks anyhow.
I'm neither dentist nor jeweler, but I was looking for something to use at work for cleaning up solder spots on parts they wanted just about as perfect as jewelry.
I got tired of using my tools at work, and not getting so much as an acknowledgement of my extra effort, so I packed it up and now she works on my RC projects instead.

I have a flex shaft for my dremmel. But I like the foot switch/controls on that one much better.

Actually, you could just add the foot control to your existing Dremel. I use something similar to this modle here:
http://www.micromark.com/VARIABLE-SP...-MAX,8172.html

You can use it on almost anything that draws 4 amps or less.

my life is so much easier with a lithium ion dremel, I NEVER have an opportunity arise where I couldn't get something fixed, modified, polished, or ground down withing specs. RC driver's best friend

Man the 1 thing ANYONE in this hobby needs is a Dremel. I "borrow" my dads dremel. Worth the $$$ for sure, comes in handy for so many things, like taking out stripped screws, what a pain in the aah ya
