Hpi USA says they redesigned the Hellfire but it looks nothing like this truggy http://www.hpiracing.com/kitinfo/10500/
It does look similar to the Hot Bodies Lightening Stadium Pro.

This has been covered in other forums before. I think it comes down to a re-badged HB truggy. I haven't seen them up close so this may be wrong. But they do look strikingly similar.

Does anyone know when/if it'll be coming to US? I notice that it's from the HPI Europe website. I'd love to find a tough, reliable truggy that I can bash and race (just for fun not in competition)

Doesn't HPI own Hot Bodies? Would it be a bad thing if it was a lightening stadium?

The lightning stadium wasn't the most durable unit.... unless HPI is selling them really cheap i don't see any logic in buying one, especially when there are soo many other much better truggies on the market...

i have seen one of these at the local track and although it was race legal it was nowhere near competative. it may have been setup or tune but it was suprisingly slow. it has been in the UK for like 1 1/2 years and is no longer stock competion for the losi's or associated's, but maybe with hefty modification it could be done.

RE: New HPI Trophy Truggy 4.6
oh I was just wondering, yeah I know it's an old thread but I couldn't find info anywhere else haha. But yeah i'm just really looking to get into racing. I want to race 3 different classes. I would like to race 1/8th scale nitro on-road, nitro truggy and 1/8th scale nitro buggy. I'm trying to find a really good truggy that looks great and is a great racer, I was going to have the HPI Trophy Truggy imported but I guess not now?

Might want to ask in the truggy forum though http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_399/tt.htm
Importing IMO would be a pain seeing you would have to import parts, wait generally over a week for shipping, and pay sometimes astronomical shipping fee's
Example I had to order a part for my one RC from canada. The part was $19 I had to pay $15 shipping...(seriously that was last week)
