lol newb attempt at RC car!!!
OMG this was so funny yesterday in metal work i decided to make up some dummy exhust tips for my truck out aluminium and polish them alyway afta polish them i see a guy in my class holding sumthing and glenn my friend ask him what it is and he says its the Base [chassis] for a RC car .... i almost died laughing because he had made this "frame" thing out of solid 1cm square steel and steel tubing welded together so it is in basically a 30cm square shape with tim on the bottom!! it weighed aobut 1.5kg and looked so ****! I then asked him what type of engine he was going to put on it and he said he didnt know me and my friend had a good laugh that thing cout fit a whole whippersnipper engine on it with out removing any casing or anything!! this guy had no idea he said he had a old rc car like a tirestorm or sumthing from radioshack for $20 and said that he would use the remote from that to turn and control throttle on his "thing" it was hilarious! i think he got the idea cause the lesson befor ehe was asking me about my truck cause i whipped up a jump for it! i'll try to get some pics of it and maby some of my Zorst as well!!

I am this friend Da flying man is talking about. And i can tell you, that i have never seen anything more hilarious that this contraption!!!! Not only was it a waste of steel, it was a waste of time and waste of my breath, a waste of MIG wire, and a waste of most otherthings in the workshop. But this thread, me follow modellers, is not a waste!! It is not waste of webspace and defiantely not waste of good laughter!!!! Yes, well try and get some pics and they'll be one here as soon as we get them!!!!!!!!!!! i'll try and talk some sense into him tomorrow, Ill tel him 'Go and buy a Nova Rossy .15 and it should move nicely" i honestly think you could walk faster even if it had 5 Nova Rossi's on it. I wonder what he'll do about wheeels, and a gearbox, and steerong. Ah i know. "ill use the lathe as the gearbox, and then put the whole thing on a skateboard! Oh wicked this is going to be the fastest RC car ever!!!". i just cant stop laughing

HAHA I can only imagine, some people are really horrible and lack creativeness. I know I would suck at it myself, but I'd love a custom 4mm chassis with a deep kickup for the buggy!
