Dont what one you are talking abt.

Recently in an RC magazine there was an HPI nitro they had go 100MMPh. But that is fastest nitro I know of. Before that is was the electric 111 was only one over 100 before.

the fastest OFFICIAL TIMED RC Car is the team associated electric at 111mph.
the fastest PROVEN nitro car is 103mph by a HPI car.
the fastest NON RC nitro car is the tether cars topping 200mph.

is there faster out there? most likely. but these are the speeds that can be verified and have proof.

Tehter cars are the only ones that go 200... My understanding is that it was an electric that held the record, in a dragstrip type trake (Strait only).. I will look for something a little more official so I can post it as proof.. who cares how fast they will go have you ever tried to turn the wheel on a car doing 60? Not very responsive, and unle3ss the car is going to just go in a strait line, I dont think it makes a good gauge for determining the best car!... Have fun..

My nitro TC3 would hit 60 - If you turned the wheel at that speed, it would still go straight for a bit then would eventually turn. For racing, dont need the speed - but just out having fun, it is cool just to see how fast a car is capable of sometimes. But yes at those speeds, it becomes harder to control. JMO
