Post pics of where you work on your r/c's here.....
Hey guys, I know i have seen these threads before, but dont think I have seen any recent ones. I did a little cleaning up tonight even though im still not real organized, but i do know where everything is. I just use a computer desk in my room(till im married and move out in a few months). Anyways, lets see pics of where you work on your r/c's. Oh, and you can see i have 2 more box's full of stuff under the desk, and a tupperware container full, not to mention some other stuff in a different desk So lets see yours....

Awesome workspace jpsonoma.
Here's mine, it's a bit nicer and more equipped now though. The wall behind the camera is where I store them all though.

I used to have a pretty decent wired and insulated shop at my old house, but my new place doesn't have a shop of any kind. If I need to wrench on something, I have to use the kitchen table, or put newspaper down and work on the living room floor. Cutting, drilling, grinding, soldering, gluing, and other similarly messy activities are done on the back porch. I think I qualify for having the lamest workspace of all members here.

I own a computer business and have an extensive set up for that so I integrated a portion for my cars. Here's a few pics.

Just a little under 1 year ago I converted a room from storage to ALL hobby. And, I'm glad I did as the Collection continues to explode it was taking my bedroom over. That took room from my computer building and, both that and the hobby can be quite cluttering. So now only the bed room is cluttered with pc stiff and the hobby stuff is now in its own place. It has even gone through more changes since these pics and, of course gotten a little messy LOL. Oh, you can't have a hobby room without RC posters can you? I got alot of the stuff on the wall from my LHS. I have some really good stuff he gave me that I don't have the heart to pin through though. It isn't a very big room but it has enough room to fill the need.

LOL! you should see how my buggy's are now.
{EDIT} Well, I have lost the pics but, they are the same way. There is one plus to doing that to them. No flat spots in the tires if not used for a while. My B3 and B4's are bad about that.

Here is a picture of my dungeon... AKA Man Cave... The wife never goes down here so all my Toys are safe.... Its a bit bigger than the pictures show.. The Work Bench is an old dining room table that is almost 8 feet and 4 feet wide..
Here is where most of the tools and spare parts are kept...
This is one of the shelf units where some of the cars and heli's are kept...
If anyone noticed. I have a couple of 5 foot orange trees down here as well.. there is 6 inches of snow on the ground and they don't like the cold weather.. Having 2 inch spikes growing on the plants, the wife won't let me keep them near the kids upstairs...

Their whole onroad section consisted of a size 12 shoe box of misc parts...
and judging from your pics your man cave is probably bigger than that hobby shop also lol

I spend a lot of time in here, and am constantly adding more shelves, storage space and organising my tools.
None of these pictures are very current and things are a lot more tidy now.
No matter how messy it gets I can always have it spotless in 10-15 minutes as everything has a place.
Multi-coloured "rope light" on the ceiling creates a nice warm athmosphere at night.
After a long day of tinkering there's nothing better than cleaning up, putting the project in the middle of the workbench, going inside to have dinner, shower etc, and then coming back out to the shed and admiring the day's effort.
That's usually when most of the good ideas are spawned as well.

Nice benches guys. I'm especially jealous of plasma's solid maple benchtop that has a nice amber patina to it.
Here's my winter work area. A couple of nesting tables against one wall of the guest bedroom. I have a proper workbench in the garage, but I'd rather make do with this for a few months and not freeze my ass.
Image 2605s: The centerpiece is the swivel stool. My great uncle was a watchmaker and this was his stool. The toolbox is an old Plano two-drawer fishing box that I got in the late 1980s. It was my electronics toolbox through college. The main table is for charging most of the time. The glass baking dish is where the battery packs go during charging, so I can safely leave them unattended. When I need to work on the trucks or cars, I have to move the chargers to make room on the tiny table. The smaller table is kind of a staging area.
Image 2607x: In this image, you can see my trusty Omron power supply. No noisy fans, as it has a huge aluminum heatsink on the back. 12 V, 13 A. Just behind that, you can spot my trusty Multiplex charger. It is tiny; about hand-sized, but it can series charge two 6 cell, 3600 mAh packs simultaneously in just over an hour. You can also see that my E-Savage is sitting across a small garbage can in the background. A screw fell out in the snow today, and the steering is missing in action until I get a replacement. Just behind The Grasshopper, you can just see my super-nice Milwaukee 12 V driver, which I occasionally use to strip the threads out of some plastic holes when I forget to turn the torque setting down after using it to loosen screws.
My garage bench is lots bigger and has a nice woodworking vise and is surrounded by all sorts of nice tools. But it is currently about 20 degrees Farenheit out there, and that is too damned cold for me.
