Default losi ten-t vs hpi mt2 3.0

I was just wondring what the real difference is I seen both, besides the ross and spectrum the trucks look pretty similar, had any one been able to compare the two by driving them and how does the mt2 handle on the track thanks

The Losi is a miniature 8ight-T which is a great platform and the MT2 is not based off of anything. I would get the 10-T just because it can be bashed or raced as the 8T platform was so versatile.

MT2 is based off the original HPI Nitro MT which was in production 6 years or so was discontinued than the MT2 came out...
Layouts very similar to a original MT and most parts are compatible.
and the mt2 3.0 has a few upgrades in parts over the original mt2

Hell I'm rebuilding mine right now (upgraded 3 parts just cause I got em cheap) and decided to do a complete tear down and rebuild.

Doesn't the 10T have a center diff? I know the MT2 doesn't.

Comes stock with a center diff, optional 2-speed available if you wish.

The 10T has an optional 2-speed? Where can I find that?

I would imagine the 2 speed for the TEN-T also gets rid of the center differential..... Just something to remember if you like to race. I also think that is going to put added stress on the driveline.

I looked on the web site and found nothing about a 2 speed tranny.

Also, the MT2 is being discontinued in the next month or two and is being replaced by the new Bullet (check it out on HPI Europe). It's the Hot Bodies gt10 (i think that's the name) just under a different brand

for me I would pick the 10T.... it has a much better radio, higher caliber engine, faster, better handling, and most likely more durable.... All in all the 10T is a more advanced machine that offers cutting edge design and performance, plus the included radio is excelent..

think it will be longer than that it hasn't even been announced over here yet.
Kinda like how the Savage 5t has been out there for awhile yet is not even mentioned in America (hell who knows maybe they won't bring either out here)
Also according to HPI europe the MT2 isn't marked discontinued that was a rumor on the forums I believe (even though it probably will be since there almost the same -battery tray and 4 shocks)

The current one is MT2 G3.0, the other 3 versions were discontinued over here also once the G3.0 came out (there all literally the same truck just different engine).

Damn looked at the bottom pic and thought they made a 1/32 scale MT2 lol

Not sure how the Ten-T drives, but it seems too bloated - the ROSS system adds a lot of weight.

hmm. i guess I was over looking it then. What's the point of having two of basically the same truck(MT2 and Bullet)? Also, will I be able to purchase the Bullet from the UK (when it's released) if I live in the US?

in all truth it looks about as different from a MT2 as a MT1 did to a MT2.
I'm downloading the manual for the bullet just to see how much is really different
BTW guess america isn't getting the savage 5t seeing its already discontinued in europe. Hell we might not even get the bullet then. (side note I wish the US HPI site was laid out as nice as the European one)
