Default Pullstart New engine?

I just got a new Fantom and i bought this one with a pullstart because my last engine which was used was not a pull start and i had problems starting it so i figured id try a pullstart this time around. However when i pull on the pull start its very hard i feel as though im going to break it i cant pull it right out, i pull it one revolution and i stop. I havent put any gas in the engine as yet im not sure if this is why but im wondering if its suppose to be this hard to pull.

If the engine is brand new, of course it will be hard to pull. My Hyper 21 8 port motor was a ***** to break in. Pulling it out was VERY hard, it had a lot of compression, and since yours is new it does too. It is normal for it to be hard to pull at first, but it will get easier as you break in the engine.

Yes, you MUST retighten the glowplug right away.

One time, we were doing so, and the plug as my friend was leaning forward to tighten it, it shot out like a bullet and landed some 7 feet away.

Yes you must retighten it or you could shoot your eye out. you just loosen it a little just enough so some of the comp. will pass.

When I was breaking in my 8port I did same thing. When it shot out - I went to pick it up. The glow plug left burns on my fingers from being so hot. It was only started a second before it shot out. But the glow plug ignitor makes it so hot. I was surprised how far it flew.
