RE: dual engine nitro
Using 2 fuel tanks will be your easiest option.
Also if the engines are new, I would recommend running them in one at a time.

RE: dual engine nitro
when i had this truck set up the first time i had 2 tanks but one fed the other then fed the motors and it worked perfect but i didnt like the way it looked so i got one big tank and also the first time i had it set up i ran both motors at the same time for breakin i my self honestly think the motors are the problem but i dont want to just buy 2 more motors because of what i think. btw i have driven it around on just one motor running and it does ok but when i do it with the left motor it still gets hot with a nice smoke trail its been in the high 60s as far as temp here just to give a little more info

RE: dual engine nitro
If you have two tanks (each connecting to each engine carb/exhaust separately), then firstly you will have less problems in the first place and secondly, any problems will be easier to diagnose because baically it is just two separate systems. Do the engines run diferently when running together compared to one at a time?

RE: dual engine nitro
When you say hot, what is the difference between the two engines?
Remember no two engines are exactly the same and it is very unlikely they would run at the same temperature, please put the temperature gauge in the cupboard and listen and look.

RE: dual engine nitro
one is hot enough that if i drop some spit or water on the glow plug it sizzles where as the other it just kinda steams off and as i have been told for many years that is way to hot

RE: dual engine nitro
i got the stalling problem resolved but i still have the issue of one motor overheating i thought maybe i put the wrong clutch bell on one motor but no that was not the case i have also checked my needle settings again and they are the same the only other thing i can think of is that one of the motors is an m28-p3 from sh and the other is a pt28-p3 but the seller i got them from says they are the same internals just different head to determine year of production can anyone actually verify that for me

RE: dual engine nitro
Well that looks beastly I would Deff like to see it run once it's tuned up right
Is it still overheating I was thinking if your still using the Y connector you could have a lean issue in one motor. You fuel line is gonna have a Max flow rate and if the 2 motor exceeds that one motor could be taking the majority of the fuel. I'm no rc guru but it just something that came to mind

if it can handle big blocks i would go with force .28 rated at 2.7 horse each or two axial .31. both reliable, durable inexpensive engines.

RE: dual engine nitro
im running 2 sh .28 si get plenty of power. the top end speed is about the same as with one engine since you really dont any more rpm you just to top speed much faster i love this truck as for 4 stroke motors i would love to build one with 1 or 2 of those but i dont have the funds for that right now
