Just clean it with a spray bottle filled with denatured alcohol. It's probably the least expensive way to do it (other than removing the electronics and hosing it down)

Simple Green and a tooth brush and some running water.Just take off the engine and electronics, spray the chassis down and rinse it off in the sink.Use the toothbrush for the caked on stuff and then dry it all off and oil the bearings.Been doing it this way for a few months now and it's allot easier/cheaper/faster than anything else i've tried.
