electric prepping for sand
this weekend i hope to get a chance to drive down to the beach and drive my duratrax evader. what kinda prep do i have to do to prevent the least amount of damage from the sand?

sand is gonna get intopretty much every thing. If you are running brushless you should be fine there alredy sealed for the most part but if you have a brushed motor you gotta try and cover up the vents with a filer materal to still let it cool but keep the sand out.

yeah, if its brushed, you will need a cover over the motor. either way, i suggest that as soon as you get it home wash/blow out the chassis and break it down. the bearings will also take a beating unless they are rubber sealed
