What voltage does the ESC provide to the motor cooling fan plug? Will it be whatever voltage the batteries provide? If I use (2) 2S lipos in series for 14.8V (i.e. like a 4S like Joacim did), will the fan get 14.8V. Looking around on ebay, I see 5V fans (7.2V max) and 12V fans (15V max).

well, I walked through the programming of the ESC using the SET button and LEDs - it was a little tricky, but it worked like a charm once I got it figured out - and the manual was right on - I adjusted the low voltage cutoff up to 3.4V to better protect the lipos and reduced the initial acceleration a bit to stop the tires from always breaking loose and lengthen the battery life a bit

well I had a chance to try out the new parameters in the ESC - I had increased the low voltage cutoff from 3.0 to 3.4 because I had an issue with one of my packs getting too low on voltage - strangely enough, with the new setting, it ran the pack voltage even lower, lower than it ever had before - and it was not the pack that had gone low before, so it was not due to a problematic pack - I am going to try and set up a DC power supply to connect to the ESC and see if I can adjust the power supply voltage down until the low voltage cutoff activates - maybe that way I can verify the ESC settings and figure out what is going on

you can always get a vot alarm for the lipos. i have 2 of them and they work good. when the volts get to 3.4 it sets the alarm off.

how long should you store lipos after charging before you need to put them at a storage voltage? or is that necessary? I have heard about discharging them to a lower-than-full voltage for longer storage - do you do that?

nope, i just let them sit after i fully balance charge them...... have had no issues to date and using the same pack for 3 years

Let me know how you make out. I got my buggy to do wheel stands on the rear wing. But I cant open the throttle the whole way with my 4s 40c 5000mAh Trunigy battery. I will be posting a video of what it is doing when I ever get my spare parts I need. They should be on the way. Secondly...... When are the programming components hitting US soil??

i just made a wiring harness to connect the 2 lipos in series for 4S and I picked up a 10t and 12t pinion to gear down a bit but have not tried them yet

divide the mAh of the pack by 1000 and multiply by the C rate - that gives you the max amps the pack can deliver - for example, a 5000 mAh 30C pack can deliver 150 amps - if our ESC is 80A, then a 5000 mAh 20C would be enough since it could deliver 100A - from what I have been reading, it is a good idea to have a little more available from the pack than the ESC max
