rc10gt diagnosis please
need diagnostic help...I have an RC10GT truck and the motor works great but the rear wheels are not driving the truck forward...Im thinking the black plastic 66 tooth spur gear..Is this the most common problem and what else should I be checking out?...Again it will spin the tires when the rear is held up but once on the ground it doesnt move..Any help on diagnostics and things to check would be appreciated...thanks in advance.

Could be the spur gear, the internal gears in the trans or, like mine, a broken outdrive. Best thing to do is start at the clutch bell and work your way back.

I WOULD START AT THE SPUR GEAR AND GO BACK ALSO
BUT ANOTHER VERY COMMON PROBLEM IS
DIFF GEAR INSIDE THE TRANS ASC7664. THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM IS NO GREASE IN THE DIFF AND YOU GET IT SO HOT THE THING MELTS AND BREAKS THE CENTER.
THE DO MAKE A METAL ONE THAT WILL HOLD UP BETTER
