RC car and plane onboard camera. Whats good?

Ok guys so Iwant to get a camera so I can film my poor RC handling skills :).

I have spent some time on the net and have an idea of some options but want to know what you guys are using and how much.

Please direct to your vids and specify what camera and memory card you are using.

Looking forward to your responses.</p>

Ok, well maybe Ican kick this off.

I have spent considerable time on the net reading blogs and looing at youtube.

It seems the most common are the MD80 and MD80 clone AKA d001.

MD80
- Price: 15 - 40 EURO
- Quality: Good daylight
Avglowlight
Good movement tracking
Average Sound
Light and small

MD80 Clone AKA d001
- Price: 5 - 15 Euro
- Quality: Avg daylight
Good lowlight
Avg/Good movement tracking
Better sound

These cameras are absolutly finewight wise and size wise for your plane/heli and car.

The big thing to be careful of here is the Micro md card. Apparently a crap one of these makes ALL the difference. I have seen alot of suggestions to get the level 6 card.

Time wise the batteries last for 1-2hours and they can fit upto an 8GB card...although there are some that say they can take 16GB.

What else is there APARTfrom the GOpro which I have and is awesome. But you are not going to spend that sort of money that would buy a new piece of kit.

Surely there are guys on this site with ALOT of knowledge and connections!?

RE: RC car and plane onboard camera. Whats good?

I have a few cameras that I have used in my stock car. Right now what I am using is the Gopro HD Hero 2 facing forward, and the Replay XD facing rearward. The Gopro has much better picture quality, but is a bit bigger and boxier than the replay. The replay has pretty good picture quality, but the main draw of it is that its much sleeker (probably be better for your plane application, more aerodynamic) I dont have any RC Videos from them, but heres a couple of in car videos from my stock car
