Finally time for 2.4GHz I think..
So.., I have five RC's and still use the RTR XS-6 radio from my Losi LST2(which I got five years ago..) It's starting to feel a bit old, so maybe it's time for a new radio.. I race 8th scale buggy occasionally, and mess around on my own some. Good range is important, and a certain degree of quality.., but a bunch of nifty features I'll never use aren't. There is currently a good deal going on locally for a DX3S incl. 2nd receiver for a price I can just about stomach(€155 shipped).. Is it good, and should I consider something else? Thanks.

Well, I went ahead and got the DX3S. I'm having medium-intensity pangs of regret, the more I read about all kinds of issues with them. Poor range, frequent interference scroll-bars breaking, etc..
Really should have gotten the Airtronics MT-4. Got bored at home though and installed the DX3S already, so don't think I can return it..
Are they really that bad?

I just got my new dx3s and I love it works great, it is really awesome really nice, I also thought a Rev limiter would be a good idea, the spmar7100r I have on my Trex 600works great, all a Rev limiter does is control the throttle servo, also would be nice to have a dual rate switch instead of the roller, but it works just fine for parking lot racing,
