Servo plug direction?

What direction does the servo plug go in a Associated XP2G TRS403SSi receiver? I was always told that the signal(white) wire went to the inside, but the plugs don't seem to fit and no the plugs are not keyed.

Just plug in a spare servo and see if it works. If not reverse it. If it's plugged in the wrong way it won't hurt anything. It just wont move at all.
