I have an M11, but have never used an M8. When I was reading the reviews of the M11, of course it was being compared with the M8. It sounded like the M11 had a bigger, brighter screen and different interface to dig through all the menus. I don't even think I remember reading that any of the settings were any different. Both accept the Spektrum stuff. I guess it depends if having the newest stuff is worth $120 to you.

theres only 3 big differences

1. the m11 Screen is bgigger(the M8 still has the biggest lcd of any other radio expected the m11)
2. M11 has a backlite screen(the LE verison has this feature/plus im good with LEDS and i think ican make it happen)
3. the m11 has 30 model memory vs the m8 10 model memory(if you use spektrum you can only use 3)

so thats the stats on the radio

personally i had saved some cash and bought a M8 for 110 shipped w/ a recieve and crystal and manual
