I own one and is very happy with it.

Pros:
4 channels
Telemetry
No worries about channel conflicts(It is frequenzy hopping with the latest update, changes channel several times a second)
Long range(Haven't tried beyond 300 meters, but 1000 meters should be possible, according to the manufacturer)

Cons:
Plastic quality/fit not the best on the market, should be better in the later batches, I preordered mine and has one from the first production run, later runs should be better.
Some people doesn't like the look.

I will without hesitation recommend it, if you can find the money.

p.s. stop YELLING.

There's been some discussion about a fuel sensor, but I don't know if there will be one down the road or not. Here are some screen shots of my Nomadio Sensor--I still haven't set up any of the tach sensors.

hi!
I own one and love it!
Love the telemetry to,I got 4 transcever all updated and it's very user frendly
One in a MGT Monster truck, one in a ravanger 1/8 buggy ,one in a AE factory team T4, and one for the future project.
I'll recomand it to any body, very realible never had a glitch with it,and the 2.4Ghz is fantastic,no more frequence problem.

go out and by one

I was just informed that the street price "just" dropped to $399.99. Check your LHS and Tower Hobbies soon--there is a link to Tower on the forum page.

A photo that I took today at the Silver State Nitro Challenge--Notice the banners behind the buggies.

Think the link is broke, all I get is:

It was interesting to note that in the lineup for this race it seems about half of the radio freqs are listed as SPEKTRUM. I am sure many of these are the Nomadio. Just shows how much this technology has taken over in a short period of time. With the price drop sales should go up.

I modified the link above.

Originally, that link was to the last page of the thread, but since sometimes I see more posts, I see more pages so the link was not "there" yet since there was not a public page yet. Make any sense? Anyway, the link now links to the first page of the thread. Of course, the most recent photos are at the end of the thread.

Lowest I found is $519.99 at Tower . I won`t be getting one unless it goes down a lot. Besides I`m happy with Spektrum .

No idea about Tower. Did you trying contacting Tower?

Attached is a photo of one of the local members who stopped by the Silver State race to meet with the Nomadio rep. I realize it is a photo of him with a boat, but he specifically wanted to know about using the transmitter with an RC boat. I also mentioned to him that I would probably post the photo in the car section since that is were I spend most of my time and since one of the concerns has been the use of the Sensor with a boat as well as cars.

I am a dealer and I havent heard of the price dropping down to $399. These radios are awesome, love the screen and how you can add your own photo. Plus the Nomadion will tell you the speed of your car, the heat and tachometer. Plus everything is included in the price.

I realize that 5 bills is a pretty tall order for most folks to spend on a RC car radio system. I was on the the pre order list an received my Nomadio last May. It was mighty tough for me to send $500 off for a radio system sight unseen but 1 year later I have absolutely no regrets. This is the only radio system I have ever bought that, after applying 4 software updates, is a better radio than when I bought it. Also, I might mention it is one of the lightest and most comfortable radios to hold during those long 30-40 minute races. After using this radio for almost a year, I would say it's a bargain at $500 and if you can find one for $400 more the better.

wow. $400 is a much better price than $500 but i always get a little worried when i see a price that seems to good to be true.

Will we still get the support from Nomadio if we bought one from ebay?
