Default GWS Receiver review needed PLEASE!

Has anyone used a "GWS R4P II 4ch PICO Receiver 75mhz FM" before? is it any good? recommended? i was thinking of a cheap alternative to put into my Tmaxx to replace the horrible rtr radio system. I wanted to use the GWS with my Futaba transmitter. I shelled out enough money for Futaba receivers already and thought maybe i could get a cheap one. another question is that Futaba recommend using their crystals, would it be much of a difference if i use a different brand but with the same band? are there problems? your comments would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Different brands of radio use different "switching" or something, which basically means you cannot use certain recievers with them. I don't know much about it, except Futaba and Hitec cannot be used with JR, KO, and Airtronics/Sanwa, and vice-versa.

rcxboy, the GWS receiver has a built-in switch to change that particular settings, so im not worried about the compatibility.
