Default Need Help!

Never used 4 channels!

I want to get a 4 channel or 6 channel radio for special circumstances for ground use only. Can i change the reciever to from 72mhz to 75mhz easily? Should i just stick with 72mhz; remote spot. I only really need 4 channels and possibly a 5th so does it hurt to get a 6 channels for the hell of it and be safe even though two channels are not being used?

This is my original post:
If I was to run two electric motors on one receiver with a forward and reverse esc, and a seperate electric engine on another reciever with forward and reverse esc, all in the same vehicle... What radio would i need? I was told a 4 channel. Need some help on this one and it's a special application. For that apllication with the 3 motors do i need 2 recievers?

React looks cool but pricey!

Thanks for the help

Trust me it's a solid project but if tell everyone what it is, it will stray from the original topic or answer i'm looking for.

Thanks

The reason behind asking the project is because in some of the radios the additional channels are only a on/off function.
I have a 5 channel for my heli, and the 5th channel is like that.

It's an rc fishing boat! Two engines to power the boat, one to reel out the line and bring the line back in. and possible use of a servo.

4 channel would work for that.
Channel 1 & 3 could be throttle (one motor on each channel) (so left stick fwd/bkw motor one, right stick fwd/bkw motor 2)
Channel 2 steering (left (or right) side to side steering)
Channel 4 for the aux motor (same thing)
If you did want to do a 5 channel, you could get a simple on/off for something like running lights.

I run a Spektrum radio on my 5 channel.

That should cover it.
The RX will have all 4 ports so you would be able to connect the 2 ESC's to it.
