Default What battery packs for Futaba 3pm 2.4GHz FASST system??

I am in the process of upgrading radios and i was wondering what battery packs i should use with my Futaba 3pm 2.4GHz FASST system??? I would like to use Futaba battery packs for both the Tx and Rx but ANY good quality battery that works good with this system and will directly plug in will work for me.
What batt packs do you people suggest i use with this system???
Thanks in advance.

I just ordered the futaba 3PM fasst too. I have an old pack with 2600 mah AA batteries that I made, but there is 10 cells. I know, I was stupid back then, anyway, is it possible to use the same pack? It peaks out at about 14.7 volts, hehe.
Thanks
Tom

No doubt, regular rechargeable batts definently will work..... i have tons of them But i really want to go to a battery pack rather than having a bunch of loose batterys.
Its really just more of a convience/simplicity thing ya know.

.... waiting from suggestions....please...

4 words to describe my 3pm fasst. they are I LOVE MY FASST. anywho best radio i ever bought, i thought spektrums were the gods of radio but the fasst just smokes it in specs and connection, it just so much faster. throw in some digital servo's and put it in HRS mode and its even faster.. oh the range is longer too.

Great, very good. Now all I need are some servos that are race worthy. Thanks cheech. Still waiting for some experts to help us out with this question...

I'm just using the standard Futuba battery pack:

And you'll need the charger too.

Has anyone tried a battery pack from cheapbatterypacks.com ? You can custom make them to your specs, and they are cheap. A lot of capacity as well.

Just found this thread. Does the TX take 8 AA cells?

If it does you might be able to use the lipo TX pack at www.truerc.net

I got myself one for my Futaba 6EXHP about a week ago now, working like a treat! I've written a page about it here as well if you want to see it in action.
