Default FM Receiver

I have Airtronics MX-3 FM 75MHz Radio Set. The set includes Airtronics FM Rx which is the same one found in M8. I'm thinking about getting 2nd RX. Do i HAVE TO buy airtronics RX or any FM 75MHz RX with Airtronics crystals???

You can use any brand receiver with any brand transmitter, as long as they are tuned to the same frequency. However, Always, Always use the same brand Rx crystals as the Receiver.

You can use other brands for the receiver. Novak XXL, Novak Synthesized, or the Airtronics receiver. Just make sure that the crystal set (rx/tx) are the same as the radio brand. So in your case get/use crystal set from Airtronics.

Default Not true

Not all radio equipment is compatible. Some are and some are not, I cant tell you what is or what is not with true fact so I wont speculate.

Most will work given the same frequency but are not safe unless they are deemed compatible.

Check with the manufacturer for the facts.
