spektrum sr300 antenna
Hey all,
This is my first 2.4ghz system so i'm a tad confused. The antenna on my spektrum SR300 is extremely short.. 3" im going to guess. The antenna exits at the almost center of the receiver so by the time i get it into the antenna tube its about 1.5" long.
So, my question is, do i even need to put the antenna in the tube? Or can i can i just tape it down to the side of the receiver?

RE: spektrum sr300 antenna
way it sounds you got the sr3000 used and sombody trimmed the wire. no big deal iv done the same with some of my sr3000's. I agree w/above and would just be sure to get most of the wire as possible into the tube as possible...youll be good from there...

Thanks for the replies.
It's not the sr3000, its the sr300. Everything is new and as it came from the package.
Here is the setup currently: (ignore ugly servo wire setup )
