Whao does it really sound like that? And is that like a Fighter Jet-type engine or a umbo Jet type? Ive seen em in RC amgazines before but I dont know the mechanics. How much do they cost?

the engines themselves are pretty pricey, like $2500+ for a new one, I have snet away for a shaft drive kit that I am going to build myself and save me a few dollars...

I am trying to come up with something to put it into, dont just want to do a car.. maybe a car/wig or something like that...

Have allot of drawings but nothing concrete yet. Anyone sceen the movie to "Torque" maybe a turbine Motorbike, but still would rather have something more exotic. Looking at my K2 Kickboard I got an Idea, ever sceen one of those T-Rex 3 wheel jobs?

Now if I can just get it to lean into the turn....

No, I wouldn't since 96vette also provided additional information on the other thread instead of pretty sures not to mention it appears that some of the members seemed to believe it was your car despite the original thread title. Perhaps, I've just seen one too many people on this forum try to take credit for someone else's hard work, but I would have at least provided the link to the other thread as well as reiterate that it was someone else's car when fielding questions and posting replies.

Not trying to bash the car(cuz its AWSOME[X(]) but in the movies it seemed pretty slow[&o] Was there any reason for this(not throttling all the way) or is that just how it is?

There's no video though. If you wanted to show pictures go to a different forum.

That video doesnt do it justice...

These things dont "run out of gas" like our reciprocating engines do.. They just keep pulling.. and pulling and pulling!!
So 1/4 mile would be a bad benchmark..
I think this thing will hit 125+ if given a long enough stretch and enough aerodynamic stability! (easier said than done!)

My opinion anyway

Man the things you could do with that...You could put like a small tank of gasoline or alchol in there with an electric pump to feed out the rear like an afterburner for show like in a real jet car. That would looks cool.
