Default Lipo explosions!

A nice collection of lipo explosions. NEVER overcharge your batteries, and be especially careful using lipos.

I've been meaning to buy an E-Flite CCP with Li-Po, but....... I met a guy at the LHS, and his Li-Po copter caught on fire outside
of his house. I think he said that all of his other flights were indoors.

bozla, Was that pack connected to a charger, or a higher source of current?

All these are experiments, where the packs were forcibly overcharged.

Nice vid's, but remember that water will not put them out, neither will an ABC fire extinguisher. It is a flamible metal and needs to be put out with a type D fire extinguisher or let it burn itself to death. I (knock on wood) have been using lipos for a few years with only one baloon incident and no fires.
