Default Kyosho Outrage, Finally done!

Awhile ago I recived from a buddy a kyosho outrage kit with only half the parts maybe. Well Iset out to find the rest and resotre this guy, and now over maybe 4 months later it's done! It has a never ran orginal motor that came in the kit along with half the parts never ran! The body is off of a outrage that has been used ALOT. It was purple but the paint was removed and painted metalic blue. The tires are the origanals that came with the kit, never ran. I dyed the rims from pink to black, along with aluminum front shocks. I am very proud of how it turned out, the body turned out great considering the condition before hand! Ihave a few pictures of it, I only have one before picture though.

those front shocks look wrong, it's all jacked up and there looks like there isn't much room for travel.

at a rest the arms should be close to level.

looking good though, nice job.

DUUUUUDE! Sweet! I'm a little pissy that I'm old enough that my first rc car is "vintage".
Its my first post here!

Not trying to jack your thread, I'm just excited to find someone else who has one (and is using/taking care of it). Ijust dug 2 (TWO) of those out of my shed. I got 1 when Iwas 10 (uhhhh, 1990), and another when Iwas 12. Ifigured they would be great for my 10 year old and Ito race.

I'm trying to find out a few things, and came across your posts (from this year, as opposed to all the others from 2000-2003!). Most of my searches turn up the ultima or ST versions....

I'm trying to figure out the tire sizes, and/or which rims will also fit it?
And if the manual is available anywhere (Kysosho doesn't have it for download)?

any idea what other tires will work on these rims (except the original kyosho tires)?

To go back some more, I have a Tekin TSC 412p in one and a Novak 410M5 in the other with old shool radios......

Here is the blowup parts diagram and parts/tree listings and numbers. I moved the logo and the shock blowup, to make it a bit smaller. Sorry for the watermark, Ihate shysty people.

I searched for a solid 4 hours last night, and couldn't find the stupid manual on the net. Just now I told google to only search the last year, and bam! Demonic_Crow (from here) happened to have a photobucket link to a scanned one s890.photobucket.com/albums/ac110/dahammerstien/kyosho%20outrage%20manual/

If it doesn't help you, I hope it helps someone.

Old thread/long shot, but any chance you could scan the manual to .pdf format and post to CompetitionX or similar site?
I'm trying to zoom in on part numbers but it's just not happening
Or maybe email it to me if not happy posting publicly.

I have a mostly complete runner that I plan to run in a vintage Mabuchi class.
Cheers
Dave
