Question about vintage Futaba transmitter compatibility

    Hi,

I have an original Tamiya Blackfoot that is pretty much bone stock and well preserved with I think original radio equipment. It has a Futaba FP-R2GS receiver and FPS28 servos but the transmitter is missing. I'm not going to use this truck much...mainly display it....and thought it would be cool to find an original transmitter. Does anyone happen to know which ones would be compatible with this receiver or how to find out?

If not, I will just get an ESC and modern electronics into it.....which may be the smarter way to go anyway.

    Thanks a lot.

RE: Question about vintage Futaba transmitter compatibility

An FP-T2P would be the Tx to use. Newer units would work, but they're not as "vintage".
Carry the fire. There\'\'ll be another time.
